The Tuesday [Night] Music Club (members were inconsistent in
billing it as TMC and TNMC) predated the Sheryl Crow project and
was originally a group of session guys getting together to get
stoned and write music once a week at Bill Bottrell's studio. There
were some unrealized plans to do a series of tours with different
lead singers which never came to fruition, but the core group
appeared on two more albums after the Sheryl Crow album, as well as
on one track from Kevin Gilbert's solo debut Thud. There are rumors of at least one album's
worth of unreleased material sitting in Bill Bottrell's
vaults. Whether this will ever see the light of day is anyone's
guess.
